  • As we reported back in August 2021, Microsoft has been planning an increase to its Microsoft 365 for Business subscriptions for a while.

  • As of March 2022, the new prices have come into effect, meaning we now know exactly what the Microsoft 365 for Business will cost for the UK market in pounds sterling.

  • In this article, we’ll outline all of the new pricing for the Microsoft 365 for Business subscriptions in 2022, including Business Basic, Business Premium, and more.


Introduction

A price rise for the Microsoft 365 Business subscriptions has been on the cards for at least six months now.

However, back in August 2021 when we first reported on these changes, we didn’t actually know what the new prices would be. Instead, we extrapolated potential pricing based on the changes to the US market price changes.

As of March 1st 2022, the new prices for Microsoft 365 for Business have now come into effect, meaning we can confirm the exact prices for each subscription in 2022.

Without further ado, here’s a summary of the new pricing for each tier of Microsoft 365 for Business, as well as the equivalent percentage increase compared to the previous price.

Why is Microsoft changing the price of Microsoft 365?

While price rises are never fun, the truth is that this is the first time Microsoft has increased the price of its 365 plans for many years.
