Darcica Logistics is an award-winning delivery and fulfilment company based in Oxfordshire, known for its reliable, personal service and strong commitment to sustainability. Founded in 2020 by Anthony Tattersall, the business provides pallet delivery, courier services, fulfilment, secure storage and event logistics for customers locally, nationally and internationally.
The Opportunity
For successful businesses, cyber security is not just about reacting to threats or addressing weaknesses. It is also about continuing to strengthen protection as the organisation grows, systems become more important and the risks facing modern businesses continue to evolve.
Having supported Darcica Logistics over a number of years, Get Support was well placed to help guide the next phase of its cyber security journey. Rather than responding to a specific issue, this project was driven by a proactive cyber security gap analysis and roadmap exercise, designed to identify practical improvements that would further enhance the business’s resilience and security posture.
The objective was to build on an already strong position by introducing additional layers of protection around user identity, account access and Microsoft 365 security. This meant taking a strategic view across the business and implementing measures that would improve control, reduce risk and support the company’s continued growth with greater confidence.
The Solution
Working in line with the roadmap developed through our cyber security gap analysis, Get Support delivered a focused security hardening programme across the Darcica Logistics business.
A key part of the project was the implementation of Conditional Access policies to enforce multi-factor authentication, helping to strengthen account security and improve control over how users access core systems and services. Alongside this, the business’s Microsoft licensing position was enhanced, with Microsoft Business Premium rolled out across the organisation to provide access to a broader set of security and management capabilities.
To improve password security and support better user practices, we configured and deployed 1Password as a business-wide password management solution. This gave users a more secure and practical way to manage credentials while reducing reliance on weaker or repeated passwords.
We also deployed FIDO2 security keys for users across the business, adding a stronger and more modern method of authentication. This provided an additional level of identity protection and supported a more resilient login experience for key accounts and users.
To further strengthen Microsoft 365 security, Get Support deployed Huntress ITDR as part of our Breach Detection and Response service. This added enhanced monitoring and protection for Microsoft 365 identities, helping the business improve visibility and response capability around one of its most important platforms.
Together, these improvements formed a well-rounded and strategic security hardening programme, aligned to the business’s ongoing development and future needs.
The Result
The completed project gave Darcica Logistics a stronger, more mature cyber security posture, built around the protection of user identities, access controls and Microsoft 365 accounts.
Rather than reacting to a security incident, the business chose to invest from a position of strength, taking sensible and forward-looking steps to improve resilience as it continues to grow. The result is a more secure operating environment, better aligned to modern cyber security best practice and supported by a roadmap-led approach to continual improvement.
