Get Support Ltd has been providing IT services to our two companies for two years. Prior to engaging Get Support Ltd, we had had very patchy help, which included being encouraged to buy a server but not being given any advice on how to use it.James Craddock did a full audit of all our computer equipment and internet communications in August 2004. He brought all our equipment up to date at minimal cost and added several essential elements including a tape back-up system. Two enhancements in particular have made an enormous difference to the effectiveness of our work. The first was that he set our mixed wired and wireless network up so that it consistently works with all the PCs, notebooks, and printers, scanners etc. working together. Of equal benefit has been the establishment of a Virtual Private Network. I travel an enormous amount and it has made me much more effective when I am on the road to be able to link into the office wherever I am from Mexico City to Manila.
James is the consummate professional. Without showing off, he clearly understands systems and calmly and methodically takes care of problems when they arise. He often does this remotely from his office, thus causing minimal disruption to us, but he also never hesitates to come to our office if he cannot fix whatever is wrong remotely. On occasion he has taken a computer away to run extensive tests and never gives up until he has definitely determined what is wrong.
We have periodically needed equipment and software updates which he has provided at very reasonable cost. These have ranged from a new CPU, to DVD-writers, routers etc. He is an ethical person with whom to do business, with charges that are fair and unquestioningly replacing any equipment that does not perform to standard. He is also meticulous about making sure that software licences are not abused.
In short, the service we get from Get Support Ltd is comprehensive, professional, and delivered with an unobtrusive but very collegial approach which is very reassuring.
Just wanted to let you know how delighted we are with the Get Support team. Get Support have achieved in two visits what other computer outfits have taken two years to do. On occasions, they have even diagnosed and repaired our office PCs within 30 minutes of taking them into their new centrally located premises.
